Kort samengevat

RitLog is gebouwd met privacy voorop. Je ritten, locaties en adressen worden alleen op je eigen toestel en in je persoonlijke iCloud bewaard. Wij ontvangen ze niet en delen ze met niemand.

Welke gegevens blijven op je toestel

  • Je ritten, afgelegde afstanden, routes en start-/eindadressen.
  • Je voertuig- en tankgegevens.

Deze gegevens verlaten je apparaat niet. Locatie wordt uitsluitend op het toestel gebruikt om de afstand van je ritten te meten. Synchronisatie verloopt via jouw eigen iCloud (Apple), niet via ons.

Welke gegevens worden verzameld

Voor het verbeteren van de app gebruiken we Firebase Analytics (Google). Hiermee worden verzameld:

  • Apparaat-ID (een anonieme app-installatie-identificatie);
  • Gebruiksgegevens (welke schermen en functies worden gebruikt).

Deze gegevens zijn niet gekoppeld aan je identiteit (de app heeft geen account of login) en worden niet gebruikt voor tracking of advertenties. Advertentiesignalen en de IDFA zijn uitgeschakeld. Er worden geen locaties of ritgegevens naar Analytics gestuurd.

Jouw keuzes

  • Je kunt het delen van anonieme statistieken uitzetten via Instellingen → Privacy in de app.
  • Alle gegevens verwijder je door de app te verwijderen (en eventueel de iCloud-gegevens in je Apple-account).

Delen met derden

Wij verkopen je gegevens niet en delen ze niet met datahandelaren. De enige externe verwerker is Google (Firebase Analytics), uitsluitend voor de bovengenoemde anonieme statistieken.

Kinderen

RitLog is bedoeld voor volwassenen en verzamelt niet bewust gegevens van kinderen onder 16.

In short

RitLog is built with privacy first. Your trips, locations and addresses are stored only on your own device and in your personal iCloud. We never receive them and never share them with anyone.

Data that stays on your device

  • Your trips, distances, routes and start/end addresses.
  • Your vehicle and fuel data.

This data does not leave your device. Location is used solely on-device to measure the distance of your trips. Sync happens through your own iCloud (Apple), not through us.

Data that is collected

To improve the app we use Firebase Analytics (Google), which collects:

  • Device ID (an anonymous app-installation identifier);
  • Usage Data (which screens and features are used).

This data is not linked to your identity (the app has no account or login) and is not used for tracking or advertising. Ad signals and the IDFA are disabled. No locations or trip data are sent to Analytics.

Your choices

  • You can turn off sharing anonymous statistics under Settings → Privacy in the app.
  • You can delete all data by deleting the app (and, if you wish, the iCloud data in your Apple account).

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers. The only external processor is Google (Firebase Analytics), solely for the anonymous statistics described above.

Children

RitLog is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
